德尼亚:
Denia is the provincial capital of the area known as the Marina Alta it is always buzzing with activities, markets and fiestas. Famous for its fallas, the spring festival where locals build wooden effigies just to burn them!. Denia is a large resort but has an authentic costa Blanca feel to it and has not been overrun with tourism. although a working town most of the tourist activity is located in the town centre las marinas area. The town is surrounded by beaches stretching 15 kilometre to the north and a further 6 kilometres to the south. Behind the town are miles of orange groves and the Montgo national park. The hills behind the town are popular as holiday residences for wealthy Spaniards . The town has a good selection of small independent shops and there is a night market on the promenade in the summer evenings. Nearby you can find most activities including golfing, horse riding and Karting. The town is also well served by public transport with links to Alicante and Valencia. Or for a day (or weekend) out there is a ferry service to Ibiza and Majorca.
