Pineda de mar is a traditional seaside resort that has been popular with Spanish tourists for decades.The Town itself dates back to the 15^th century. A lowrise and relaxing place it never gets overcrowded. The beaches likewise are spacious and not too commercial. There are better opportunities for nightclubbers in neighbouring resorts and Pineda de Mar is essentially a family resort. The town itself is pleasantly illuminated at night and the local restaurants are excellent with the Spanish specialty restaurants being particularly good. The clear waters in the sea are good for scuba diving. Not a place for 18-30s but a good relaxing family resort.
