Santa Susanna
Santa Susanna
Santa susanna is a pretty town on the lower plains of the montnegre mountains. located about 55 kilometres from Barcelona. Whilst being commercial and well built up it doesn’t suffer from ugly high rise apartment blocks.Like many resorts in the costa brava it has a climate above 20c from march to October. The beach runs for about 2 kilometres and whilst being very nice it does have a reputation for sharply shelving at points. The montnegre hills behind the resort attract mountain bikers and campers. The town has a number of late bars and the main nghtlife generally takes place in the hotels,it would not be considered a wild party town. Likewise shopping is adequate for a holiday town but anyone seeking some serious shopping should take a day trip into nearby Barcelona.
