La Manga del mar menor on the Costa Calida is an unspoilt upmarket resort popular with families and couples. La Manga is actually situated on an isthmus surrounding a lagoon and as such has miles of unspoilt beaches and is considered a watersports mecca. It is also Home to the famous La manga Golf resort where you might bump into the odd premiership footballer off season. The area is home to three championship golf courses but be prepared for long tee off waits during peak season. Bars and restaurants are mainly located around the Bellaluz Plaza and Las Lomos. If you are looking for nightclubs you won’t find them in La manga with a late night in the casino being as late as it gets.
